Public-space use goes through a revocable permit

Colorado Springs uses revocable permits for private use of public right-of-way and identifies dumpsters and POD storage containers as temporary examples. A revocable permit can be withdrawn by the city. Do not treat public space as a guaranteed extension of the job site.

The city says a right-of-way location must preserve normal public use, avoid interference with existing structures, and keep vehicle and pedestrian movement working. The application needs more than an address
