Because most whole-project debris streams land between the two extremes. A kitchen plus its flooring, a garage plus a shed, an estate cleanout — each overflows a 15 but never comes close to needing 30 yards. The 20 keeps the same 4.5-foot wall for easy loading and adds six feet of floor.
Will a full roof tear-off fit in one 20-yard box?
It depends on the roof area and how many shingle layers come off. Shingles are dense, so the limit is usually weight, not volume. Give us the approximate square footage and layer count and we will set the box count and fill height before the crew starts pulling.
How much space does delivery need?
The box is 22 feet long, and the truck needs a straight run beyond that to roll it off and later winch it back on. Report gates, low branches, overhead lines, and parked cars when you book. If the only workable spot is in a city street, permit rules apply first.
What stays out of the box?
